Human Powered Vehicle
Human Powered Vehicle is a competition run by the American Society of Mechanical Engineers. Teams are challenged to research, design and construct a vehicle to compete against teams from across the country in sprint and endurance races.
Prototype
This is the final prototype for senior project II. The seat, package rack and handle bars need to be worked on but the frame, drivetrain, steering, fairing have all been assembled. Testing of the prototype is the next stage of the project.

Load Testing
The competition requires that the roll hoop be tested with 600 lbs at 12 degrees from vertical. This was accomplished by setting up a JIG, lifting 600 lbs with a winch and lowering it onto the roll protection system
Project Updates
The frame has been heat treated back to T6 and the bike has been assembled. Due to the Corona Virus testing has been put on hold. Stay tuned!
